Raw Organic (Unrefined) African Black Soap contains natural Antioxidants which protect the skin from free radical damage, which is a cause of premature skin aging, wrinkles and facial lines. Raw African Black soap is soft, organically shaped, delicately textured and exudes a natural, earthy smell. Raw African Black soap has a natural luxurious lather,  firms and tones skin, and improves skin texture, for more supple and glowing skin. Our 16 oz bar can cut into smaller bars and last a good long time. Traditionally made by hand in Ghana West Africa, research indicates that black soaps might contain many different ingredients, but majority of black soaps contain various oils, like the coconut oil, palm oil, palm kernel oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. They also contain ashes from different plants, like shea tree bark, banana trees, cocoa pods, and plantain leaves. Water is used as a base for producing these soaps. This soap has no fragrance or  other artificial properties.
